Summary
     I am a self-employed contractor in business since 1998. My main strength is being a jack of all trades, but I have significant expertise in graphic design, web design, IT, and medium-weight programming (e.g., javascript, multithreaded bash scripting, etc).
    
Abilities and History
     Over the years I have worked on a wide variety of projects for numerous companies and independents. The following is a list of the sorts of things I have done, along with a listing of companies I have worked with for several months or more:
  • Website and web application creation (HTML/CSS/javascript/images)
  • Automation systems and backend server work
  • Logos, letterhead, business cards, and other collateral
  • Artwork manipulation, retouching, color correction, etc
  • Photography
  • Computer assembly and repair
  • Networking setup and diagnostics
  • Computer program graphics (splash screens/icons/UI)
  • 3D game / 3D simulation component creation (models/maps/textures)
  • A/V recording and mixing
  • Typography (font creation)
  • Physical prototyping
  • Sewing (I'm a guy, this counts for something)

      Company was expanding into a larger office in south Boston. I worked closely with the head of IT to purchase and install new networking equipment, setup machines for new employees, and help upgrade backend infrastructure.

Automation and Web app design
  Intellivid was a video analytics company where I supported the automated vision processing systems. I was also one of the primary engineers behind a new web app product and worked closely with QA during it's development. In 2008, Intellivid was acquired by the American Dynamics wing of Tyco International, where I continued to work by supporting the code/IP/IT merge. I was also responsible for creating and maintaining a new automated build system which featured a company-internal web app.
